This cleverly constructed scarflette features a knitted ruffle made by rapidly increasing stitches, which is worn through a keyhole to create an ascot look. It is easily tucked into a coat, and since it is not pulled over the head like a cowl, it won't muss hair or makeup. Make it in a bulky yarn for a solid color, or hold two worsted weight yarns together to achieve a tweed. It is named for the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, home to an ever changing array of art that is just as innovative as this design.
