Deepwells Farm was built in St. James, Long Island in 1845 for the son of the founder of Smithtown and named for two 125-foot wells on the property. It was renovated in the Greek Revival style in 1924. The bobbles and faux cable pattern in this scarf is reminiscent of the wallpaper and moldings throughout the mansion, especially in the second floor Hall. Today Deepwells is open for special events and is maintained by the Deepwells Farm Historical Society. This scarf can be paired with the Deepwells Hat for a charming set!
