Designer, Patty Olson, who used LIYF yarns in her Midge shawl. Patty told us the story of the design, and why she used our yarns:
"I wanted something soft and warm and more of a capelet shape than a crescent. Then when I saw the Lavender Denim yarn you had at Vogue Knitting Live in Minneapolis, I knew I had to use it! It's such a pretty shade and it drapes beautifully into the capelet shape. I think the style goes well with jeans and a white shirt but could always be dressed up. I was originally going to do it in just the lavender but then I saw your pink Sheepish and needed to incorporate it! I loved working with these yarns, they are so incredibly soft and the stitch definition is lovely."
We no longer have Sheepish, but Bellflower or Pink Clove would make good alternatives. You can find the pattern for Midge on Ravelry by clicking here.
