Jennifer Andrus

Jennifer Andrus, who learned about LIYF through Vogue Knitting Live!, and has since joined us for our monthly CommuKNITy Night via Zoom.  Here's what she had to say:

"This was my very first skein of yarn and pattern from LIYF.  The yarn is North Shore, the hat pattern is Great River Hat. This little llama farm on Long Island has been on my radar since 2019 and I am so glad through VKL, I finally got to experience it.  I then had the pleasure of visiting the farm last month and it was such a treat to be surrounded by all the llamas and get to know their personalities.  Tabbethia and everyone I have met at LIYF is so kind and welcoming.  They truly have made lock-down much less isolating and painful.  I have the Westhampton Dunes Cowl up next to make with Lavender Denim and the Whale's Tail Mitts in White Picket Fence to follow.  I encourage you to take a tour,  buy some yarn and get to know Tabbethia and the staff.  And do yourself a favor and pick up a Bathbomb with CBD oil in it.  Absolutely divine!"

We are sold out of North Shore, which was part of a yarn collaboration between LIYF and Blue Sky Fibers.  However, any of our worsted weight yarns would make a terrific Great River Hat.  The hat pattern uses one skein for a cap like Jennifer made, or two for a slouchy version.
