Hilary has become a great friend to LIYF, attending our CommuKNITy Night and virtual events. She made The Parrish cowl with American LIYF With Forage Color bulky. Here's what she told us:
"I made The Parrish using Bulky, in Madder. This yarn!!! So soft, and warm, and looks so stylish. I am going to make one for my husband too." The Parrish is a keyhole cowl so it wraps around your neck and won't mess up your hair when you put it on. You can make it either with bulky weight yarn or by holding two strands of worsted weight together. If you choose two different colors of worsted you can achieve some beautiful marled color combinations!
Hilary also made the Fjelltopp Cowl by Mary Jane Mucklestone in Purple Twilight and Bellflower, which inspired Ruth Anne Dingwell to do the same! Check out the photos of them modeling their cowls below.
